For the 11th straight year, Microsoft has been recognized as a leader on Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence platforms – placed ahead of competitors SAP, IBM, and more for it’s ratings on “Ability to Execute” and “Completeness of Vision”.

As more and more enterprises tap in to the Microsoft cloud and look to Office 365 to mobilize their workforce, Power BI – Microsoft’s Office 365-based analytics platform – has positioned Microsoft as a leader in cloud-based analytics platforms as well. Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, expects $500 million in annualized billings from Power BI for its 2018 fiscal year and is excited about future growth opportunities as Microsoft continues to expand it’s impact in business intelligence.
